MERCHANDISE

Fast Cars The kids just wanna dance

This is the original recording of "The kids just wanna dance" August 1979, before the Butcher's Arms lyrics were added.

HERE ARE SOME COVER VERSIONS OF OUR SONG FROM AROUND THE WORLD!

This is the first we ever heard by American band Manda and the Marbles, she only uses the chorus but we were so impressed we've used it through the PA at the start of our shows!
It was recorded for their album 'Angels with dirty faces' on the Addison label.

When we toured Japan in 2008 one of our support bands, 'Water Closet' had recorded it and had it on there latest album, their bass player even joined us on stage to sing along!

The most popular cover so far has been by American band Emily's Army (now named Swmrs), who's drummer was Joey Armstrong, son of Green Day's Billie Joe.
Billie Joe introduced the band to our song and produced the album it is on 'Lost at seventeen' on Rise Records.

Another recorded version is by French band The Headliners on their album 'Too young to fall in love' on the UPVR label.

Canadian band 'Ice War' recorded their own rock version which goes like this.....

Here's a Japanese band playing Images of you and The kids just wanna dance!

Here's 16 year old Bruno from the UK doing his version, his backing singers are American Band "Baby Shakes!"

Here is Japanese band "Xero Fiction" during a rehearsal!

Here's Japanese Band "Neonlight" this is extremely FAST!!!! an audience member joins in as well!

Here's a young French Band "Whacks" (from Paris) doing it!!

Here's something different, 'Images of you' by UK band The Hidden, performed live at The Plaza Stockport.

Here's Italian band 'Smart Kidz' and their version of 'Everyday I make another mistake.
